Marines Deploy to Middle East – SPMAGTF Support

Dear Friends,

In short order the Command Element of our 1st Marine Regiment and the newly assembled Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force (SPMAGTF-Over 2,000 Marines Ground & Air) will deploy in “Harm’s Way” to the Middle East as our Nation’s 911 “Crisis Response” Force. They will be spread over several theaters of operation which may encompass Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, and include the training/partnering with the militaries of Kuwait, Jordan, Bahrain, and the UAE. Their original purpose was to prevent another tragic Benghazi from occurring, however their mission has now expanded to the support of OPERATION INHERENT RESOLVE (Eliminate the ISIL Terrorist Group), providing a blanket of theater and regional security, and the training of allied forces to eliminate any and all terrorist’s threats in their area of operation. The eradication of ISIL is vital to our National Security.

To this end, we need your financial support to provide a wonderful Camp Pendleton Send-Off (Sandwiches, Chips, Side Dishes, Cookies & Snacks plus Cold Beverages) for our Families & Marines as they prepare to board the busses to a nearby Air Force Base, then fly to the Middle East. Once In-Country and during their nine month tour we will be sending lots of Care Packages stuffed with goodies and supplies that our Troops can only purchase stateside. We’ll do the shopping for them and make sure they are well fortified. The cost to post & send just one USPS Large Flat Rate Box is $16.85.
